"The Irish note"

Its that time of year again. The musicians jam session playing Irish songs to kick off the John o' Brian festival. For those of you Narrandera was home to famed priest Father Patrick Hartigan (1878-1952) who published his poetry under the nom de plume John O'Brien. His best known poems include Said Hanrahan, Tangmalangaloo and Around the Boree Log. Many of his books are available at Narrandera's Visitor Information Centre. Narrandera's John O'Brien Festival has become an annual pilgrimage for many who appreciate the great humanity and humour of "John O'Brien's" poetry. For all you tech heads, Images were shot at f.4  200 sec ISO1000. There was a Nikon sb-910 placed at the end of the line of musicians to add a rim light and create shadow fore a more dramatic effect.
